Bas Ruiter (1996) is an animator/illustrator living and working in the Netherlands 
Having gotten into comics and movies at an early age, Ruiter developed a love for the 
art of telling stories through angles, raw emotion and existentialism.

Studying at Academy Minerva in Groningen
and ArtEZ in Zwolle, Ruiter has honed his craft into a storyteller looking to narrow the bridge between his thoughts and feelings 
and that what he expresses on the frame

On this site, Ruiter provides a variety of films throughout the years, ranging from experiments to depictions of humanity's 
innermost demons, ready to leave the viewer with a more varied outlook on life. 

Ruiter is also quite versed in writing paragraphs that make him sound a lot more pompous than he really is.
